Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance and Accounting (Product Costing, RFQ, MIS, and Budgeting)

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Manager in Finance and Accounting with expertise in Product Costing, RFQ (Request for Quotation), Management Information Systems (MIS), and Budgeting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis to support product development and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Costing:

- Develop and maintain product cost models, ensuring accurate costing for new and existing products.

- Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights to optimize product profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, and production) to ensure accurate costing in line with business objectives.

Request for Quotation (RFQ) Management:

- Manage the financial aspects of the RFQ process, including cost estimation, pricing strategy, and profitability analysis.

- Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to provide financial insights and support in the negotiation process.

- Evaluate supplier quotes and ensure alignment with financial targets and product costing strategies.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

- Develop and implement MIS reports that provide clear and actionable insights to management.

- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making.

- Streamline data collection processes and enhance reporting tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of detailed financial forecasts and budgets.

- Monitor actual performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.

- Support the development of long-term financial plans, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Must have CMA Qualified, Certified Management Accountant is preferred).

- 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong focus on product costing, RFQ management, MIS, and budgeting.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, cost accounting, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- Advanced knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.
