Project Management - ESG Regulatory - Associate
Job Description:
Unleash your expertise in Environmental Social & Governance and Regulatory Management by collaborating across one of the world's most innovative financial organizations.
As an ESG (Environmental Social & Governance) Regulatory Program/project manager in our Asset & Wealth Management team, you will have the opportunity to support the Solutions business across all our global client channels, including the US Private Bank, International Private Bank, and US Wealth Management. You will work with complex business scenarios, tight deadlines, and competing priorities, requiring interaction with all levels of our organization. In this role, you will promote strategic implementation and program governance, providing a unique opportunity to shape our ESG initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and supporting ESG-related regulatory projects and change management initiatives across the Wealth Management platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, operations, technology, and control functions, to ensure compliance with sustainable investing regulations.
- Support the analysis and documentation of project requirements and outcomes.
- Help coordinate and track the progress of project deliverables, ensuring timely completion and compliance with ESG regulations.
- Participate in the development of strategies to improve process efficiency, risk mitigation, and technology enhancement.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management to provide updates on project status and risk management.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic improvements to the operating model and technological enhancements.
- Engage in continuous learning about ESG regulations and their impact on the business, participating in training and educational opportunities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, regulatory compliance, or a related field within the financial services industry. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of ESG principles and regulatory requirements relevant to the investment industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong background and proven ability to transform processes across multiple business areas; Vocal in challenging business-as-usual operating models and recommending innovative improvements
- Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills; Confident communicator with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal and written updates for all levels of the organization and Excellent judgement, risk / control mindset
