Lead Architect

As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Operations Technologies Service Product, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.

Job responsibilities

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are preferred.
