Job Descriptio n Linux Manager
We are seeking an experienced Linux Manager to lead our Linux administration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Linux systems and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux environments.
Responsibilities
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and applications.
Manage server performance, capacity, and availability to support business operations.
Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for Linux systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux environments promptly.
Work with development and operations teams to optimize system performance.
Lead and mentor a team of Linux administrators, providing technical guidance and support.
Manage backup and disaster recovery processes for critical Linux systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.
Overall 15+ years of experience in related field.
Proven experience of 5+ years as a Linux Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and server technologies.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
