Job Descriptio n Linux Manager

We are seeking an experienced Linux Manager to lead our Linux administration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Linux systems and will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers and applications.

• Manage server performance, capacity, and availability to support business operations.

• Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for Linux systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux environments promptly.

• Work with development and operations teams to optimize system performance.

• Lead and mentor a team of Linux administrators, providing technical guidance and support.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery processes for critical Linux systems.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.

• Overall 15+ years of experience in related field.

• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Linux Manager or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and server technologies.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

• Excellent leadership and project management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
