Procurement Engineer

What you will do

• Procurement Management: Handle procurement of electrical and electronic commodities.
• Supplier Evaluation: Assess suppliers based on their products, services, and pricing.

How you will do it

You will be required to work closely with the Procurement Manager, and key stakeholders to understand spend requirements, negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers to achieve both cost book and savings targets. You will need to closely manage commercial and contractual interactions with external companies. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting the creation of key supplier partnership business plans based on internal requirements, supplier market analysis and cost models to achieve long-term working relationships that enable both supplier and JCI market growth.

Strategic sourcing, negotiation and managing relationships with local suppliers to ensure timely, cost effective, quality delivery of the products. Vendor Registration and Qualification Cost Analysis and Negotiation Lead the sourcing and procurement of electrical components and systems. Conduct total cost analysis and prepare detailed procurement reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Actively aligned with management strategies and category team to gain benefit. Weekly review with Project managers for open purchase request and projections Provide monthly savings data, TWC improvements, Open PO reviews to manager. Arrange documents in soft copies maintain record. Hands on Experience on MS office and ERP, software Reconciliation of vendor invoices, open PO, PRF maintain record up to date Extract reports from ERP arrange as per requirement for reviews, audits.
