Desired Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an institute of repute.
• Minimum 20 years of post-qualification experience in O&M/ Operation & Maintenance of thermal power plant having more than 1000 MW Generation Capacity
• Minimum 3 Yrs Exp in Leadership position as Head Operation/Maintenance/O& M Knowledge of cross functional areas of the entire power generation process from fuel to grid , Procurement , Quality , Cost , Safety & Environment

Plant Availability & Reliability

1. Forced outage less than 3%
2. Planned Outage less than 5 %.
3. Adherence to Overhauling Schedule.

Generation

1. Declared Capacity 101%
2. Actual generation => schedule generation
3. Ensuring merit order generation
4. Ensure scheduling and dispatch co-ordination with LDC and power sales team.

Cost of generation

1. Heat Rate less than 1% variance from design values
2. O & M Cost within budgeted target
3. Inventory level control less than budgeted cost.
