Role & responsibilities

• Hygiene and sanitationResponsible for the cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the hostel. This includes supervising sanitation staff, maintaining attendance records, and ensuring the Minimum Wage Act is followed.
• Student welfareResponsible for the health, hygiene, and general welfare of the students. This includes ensuring students follow rules and maintaining discipline.
• SecurityResponsible for the safety and security of the students. This includes responding to emergencies, coordinating with security staff, and ensuring students don't sneak out of their rooms.
• Room inventoriesResponsible for maintaining room inventories and issuing clearance certificates when students leave.
• MaintenanceResponsible for planning for the maintenance and upgrading of hostel facilities. This includes reporting and pursuing complaints about repairs and replacements.
• Student issuesResponsible for liaising with the welfare service and accommodation office about student concerns.
• Policies and rulesResponsible for coordinating with management to create policies, rules, and regulations.
• Student recordsResponsible for maintaining accurate records and writing reports.
