Engineer / Senior Engineer - Gate Assembly Shop

Roles and Responsibilities

a. Must be a Mechanical/Industrial engineer (Industrial engg. preferable).

b. Must have a good experience in Assembly in reputated Engineering company.

c. Ability to work across multiple areas of the assembly process to ensure OTD.

d. Read Drawings and verify the parts required prior to assembly,

e. Ensure products are to the correct MOC, tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications

f. Monitor the assembly process and carry out basic testing and quality checks

g. Must be conversant with the Machining, Welding, Fabrication, Passivation and assembly process.

h. Must be able to plan the production and should be aware of the capacity requirements.

i. Ability to troubleshoot creatively, solve problems effectively, and make inform decisions while successfully guiding others through constant change.

j. Should be aware about the shop layouts, assembly planning, manpower allocation techniques and VSM process.

k. Must have the good knowledge about the various tools & best manufacturing practices.

l. Must be able to work on SAP interface, generate daily reports & required MIS.

m. Good command on Inventory utilization, process control and implementation of Lean manufacturing.

n. Good understanding towards Lean, 5S techniques and its shop floor implementation

Desired Candidate Profile

a. Knowledge of SAP preferred.

b. Can be relocating nearby company location.

c. Presentable, must be proficient in PC & MS office.

d. Effective communication (oral/written), problem solving and good analytical as well as negotiation skills.

e. Positive attitude, self-motivated and effective in team environment under a high work load and multiple responsibilities.
