Video Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage, add sound effects, graphics, animations, and transitions to create engaging videos.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to create video content for YouTube, social media, website, and other platforms.
• Market Insights: Work closely with subject matter experts to understand stock market trends and news, ensuring videos are accurate and insightful.
• Storytelling: Develop visually compelling narratives that resonate with a wide audience, from beginners to seasoned traders.
• Graphic Design: Integrate stock charts, graphs, and other financial visualizations into videos to support educational content.
• Social Media Optimization: Tailor videos for different social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) with proper formatting and subtitles.
• Quality Control: Ensure video content is of the highest quality in terms of visuals, sound, and editing. Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and quality standards.
• Post-production: Work on color grading, sound design, and final video output in accordance with platform specifications.
• Video Analytics: Monitor the performance of videos, gather insights, and optimize content based on analytics (e.g., viewer engagement, watch time).
• Creative Input: Propose new video content ideas, trends, and formats to keep the content fresh and innovative.

Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in the finance or stock broking industry.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other motion graphics and design tools.
• Ability to work with financial data and integrate it into video content, such as stock charts, trading strategies, and market analysis.
• A good understanding of video production processes, from pre-production to post-production.
• Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams (content, design, marketing).
• Ability to adapt content for various digital platforms, ensuring videos are optimized for different audiences and formats.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
