About The Role:
- As a Product Manager (PM-1) at Jai Kisan, you will play a key role in driving the development and optimization of our core consumer lending products.
- Working closely with the Head of Product and cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, focusing on enhancing user experiences, increasing product engagement, and driving measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Be Working On:
- Product Roadmap: Support the creation of the product roadmap by gathering user insights, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize features that drive growth
- Feature Development: Manage the end-to-end development of product features - from ideation, requirements gathering, and user stories to collaborating with design, engineering, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation
- Customer-Centric Focus: Understand and address user pain points by constantly gathering feedback from rural customers and stakeholders, using it to inform product decisions
- Data-Driven: Analyze product usage data and key performance metrics to evaluate the impact of new features and identify areas for improvement
- User Experience: Collaborate with the design team to optimize the user journey, ensuring the product delivers a seamless and intuitive experience to rural and agri-retail users
- Go-to-Market: Assist in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful adoption and user engagement
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Operations, to deliver high-quality products that meet business objectives
Your Day-to-Day:
Product Discovery: Participate in brainstorming sessions, gathering ideas from various stakeholders to help shape the product vision and roadmap
Product Execution: Write clear and actionable product specifications, manage sprints, and ensure timely delivery of features
Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance using tools like Mixpanel and Google Analytics to track KPIs and inform product iterations
User Research: Engage with rural customers, understand their needs, and ensure that their feedback is integrated into product improvements
Collaboration: Communicate with teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements:
- You have 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally working on B2C products
- You have a strong understanding of user needs and have a customer-first mindset
- You're data-driven and comfortable using metrics to guide product decisions
- You have some experience with agri-retailers, MSMEs, or building for emerging markets (good to have)
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and can work independently to deliver results
- You're highly collaborative and enjoy working in cross-functional teams
- You're passionate about learning and growing in product management
