ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Pedagogy of Biological Science will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of pedagogy with a focus on the biological sciences. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in the field of pedagogy of biological science at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Conduct research in the field of pedagogy with a focus on the biological sciences.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of diverse students.
• Mentor and support students in their academic and professional development.
• Participate in departmental, college and community service activities.

Qualifications:

• A PhD or equivalent degree in Education, Pedagogy, or a related field with a focus on the biological sciences.
• Strong teaching and research experience in the field of pedagogy with a focus on the biological sciences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
