Job Description
NIF is seeking a visionary and results-oriented CEO to lead our incubation center. The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful incubation of startups within the center. This role requires a leader with a strong background in innovation, a proven track record of leadership in the startup ecosystem, and the ability to align with the strategic goals of JKKN Institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with NIFs mission and the broader goals of JKKN Institutions.
Innovation Management: Foster an environment that encourages innovation and supports the development of new ideas and technologies.
Start-up Incubation: Oversee the incubation process, providing mentorship, resources, and guidance to startups from idea to market.
Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, academic institutions, and government agencies.
Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the incubation center, ensuring efficiency, financial sustainability, and growth.
Fundraising and Investment: Identify and secure funding sources for startups and the incubation center, including government grants, venture capital, and industry sponsorships.
Team Leadership: Lead a diverse team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Community Engagement: Represent NIF at industry events, conferences, and within the local community to enhance the centers visibility and impact.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, preferably within a startup ecosystem, innovation-driven company, or incubation center.
Innovation: Proven track record of driving innovation, with at least one documented innovation or patent.
Strategic Vision: Experience in developing and executing strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing large-scale projects.
Collaboration: Strong ability to build partnerships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Education: A bachelors degree in business, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry Engagement: Strong network within the startup, investment, and academic communities.
Fundraising: Experience in securing funding through various channels, including venture capital, government grants, and industry partnerships.
Scholarly Impact: A background in academia with publications in high-impact journals is an added advantage, though not mandatory.
