Job Description:
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hostel.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hostel to ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing feedback and support for their professional development.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
- Address any resident concerns or complaints related to cleanliness and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive living environment for students.
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hostel or educational institution.
- Strong understanding of cleaning products, techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
