Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced House Keeping Supervisor for our Ladies Hostel at our esteemed college. The ideal candidate will ensure that our hostel facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will oversee a team of housekeeping staff and implement efficient cleaning protocols. Your role is vital in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our students, contributing to their overall well-being during their stay in the hostel.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the hostel.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of the hostel to ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing feedback and support for their professional development.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
Address any resident concerns or complaints related to cleanliness and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive living environment for students.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hostel or educational institution.
Strong understanding of cleaning products, techniques, and health and safety regulations.
