Lead Developer - C#/.Net (6-15 yrs)

Position : Lead Developer

Introduction :

Lead Developer is responsible for leading a team of developers on a day to day basis in designing, coding, integrating, deploying and testing various aspects of application development

Duties & Responsibilities :

- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents

- Perform coding to written technical specifications

- Investigate, analyse and document reported defects

- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects

- Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses

- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates

- Responsible for planning and sizing development effort as well a monitoring team output and delivery against project plans

- Manages the allocation of work across the team of developers ensuring appropriate utilisation of staff at all times

- Monitors team performance

- Coaches and mentors junior developers

Desired Experience & Qualification :

- Relevant IT qualification

- C# and .Net experience

- SQL Server experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Silverlight/Ajax would be an advantage.

- Analytical and systemic thinking

- With more than 8 years' experience in software development

- At least 3 to 5 years in a senior role or as a Lead Developer

- Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure

- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work

- Ability to work well within a team
