Job Description
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years relevant experience in Business Analyst role with solid knowledge of Market Risk domain
- Understanding of key Market Risk methodologies ( VaR, stress testing )
- Experience in VaR calculation using various approaches like Monte Carlo, Historical, Sensitivity based etc.
- Knowledge of financial products including swaps, options, derivatives, CDS, IRS etc.
- Be able to write SQL queries . Knowledge of UNIX.
- Expert in translating high level use cases into crisper business requirements
- Be able to identify, quantify, plan and control all business analysis related activities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
- The ability to drive and influence change in a high-pressure environment
- Solid track-record as a process driven business analyst supporting the full development lifecycle for global projects
- Good understanding of lean/agile methodologies and tools
- Experience with UML, MS Project, Visio, Excel, Share Point
- Ability to engage and collaborate with Stakeholders towards desired business outcomes
- Experience working with traders and a range of technical teams
- Can work independently with minimum supervision and support engineering teams on requirements, and functional review of completed work
- Provide support to Project and program managers, development and QA teams maintaining focus on expected delivery outcomes for each business case
- Flexible and adaptable working style to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- CFAs and FRMs are strongly recommended and preferred.
- Awareness or basic programming skills in Python
