Tableau - Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders directly to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective and insightful dashboards.
• Perform data analysis, data cleansing, and data preparation for Tableau data sources.
• Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and scalability.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and Tableau development.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of data visualization standards and best practices within the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau dashboards and data sources.
• Participate in the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion to data visualization and reporting.
• (Preferred) Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on AWS to support Tableau data sources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Masters in computer application (MCA)
• 6+ years of experience in developing and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS & Redshift).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Tableau or related fields.
• Experience with Tableau Server administration and maintenance.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Power Automate (Power BI)
