Wedding and Event Planner

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Wedding and Event Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to execute weddings and events seamlessly. You will work closely with clients to transform their visions into reality while ensuring a smooth and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Consultation:

• Conduct initial consultations to discuss wedding packages, event themes, budgets, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through consistent communication.

2. Planning and Coordination:

• Assist clients in planning entire events or specific decor elements.
• Create detailed timelines, floor plans, and checklists for events.
• Assign and manage tasks with the team to ensure flawless execution.

3. Vendor Management:

• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts.
• Obtain quotes and coordinate with vendors for décor, catering, entertainment, and other services.

4. Event Execution:

• Oversee on-site event production, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Monitor event setup, decorations, and cleanup activities.

5. Budget Management:

• Prepare and update event budgets based on client requirements.
• Ensure budget adherence and proper allocation of resources.

6. Documentation and Presentations:

• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and quotations for client meetings.
• Maintain records of client interactions, contracts, and payments.

7. Event Coordination:

• Given the nature of events occurring on weekends and evenings, reliable attendance and weekend availability are essential to meet client and team demands.
• Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority, otherwise refers the matter to upper management. Notifies supervisor or team members regarding of all unusual circumstances

7. Other responsibilities:

• Travel for business meetings and venue visits.
• Resolve client or guest complaints promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Plan multiple events simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3- 6 years of experience in event planning, wedding planning, or related roles in the hospitality industry.
