Environmental Manager

We are looking for a Environmental Manager for our Project at, Amravati, Andhra Pradesh.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability practices, particularly in construction and infrastructure projects. The Environmental Manager will be responsible for overseeing environmental sustainability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and leading rehabilitation works to restore the environment post-construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Environmental Sustainability: Lead the development and implementation of sustainability practices for the project, ensuring that environmental impact is minimized, and sustainable solutions are integrated throughout the construction process.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international environmental laws, regulations, and policies, including waste management, pollution control, and environmental permits.
• Rehabilitation & Restoration Works: Oversee and manage rehabilitation and restoration activities to restore impacted environments, including land, water, and vegetation, to pre-project or improved conditions.
• Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Conduct or supervise environmental impact assessments (EIAs) to assess the potential environmental impacts of project activities and recommend mitigation measures.

• Educational Qualification:
  
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Masters degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability, particularly within construction, infrastructure, or development projects.
• Proven track record in managing environmental impact assessments (EIAs), rehabilitation works, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
