Project Head-Civil- Fertilizer Project (Egypt)

Role

The incumbent will be responsible to ensure Project implementation of entire civil activities of the Green field fertilizer complex and heading the civil department after plant commissioning at Egypt

Responsibilities

• Project Management:
• Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects, from feasibility studies to project completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Design and Analysis:
• Perform advanced engineering calculations and simulations.
• Oversee and review detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for various projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, equipment foundations and water systems.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Construction Oversight:
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, plans, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to resolve on-site issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Present project updates, reports, and technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Mentor junior engineers and other team members, fostering professional growth.
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively within the team.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Develop and implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain compliance with environmental regulations, health, and safety standards.
• Technical Reporting:
• Prepare detailed project documentation, technical reports, and presentations.
• Analyze project outcomes and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with advancements in civil engineering technologies, tools, and practices
• Introduce innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.

Preferred candidate profile

The candidate should have Bachelors Degree in Engineering (civil ) with 15-20 years experience with relevant experience in civil industrial construction.

Project experience of Phosphatic Fertilizer will be an added advantage
