Technician Electrical - Georgia

Job Purpose:

To ensure the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems during project phases, and to maintain optimal performance and reliability of these systems through effective maintenance practices post-commissioning. The Technician Electrical will contribute to minimizing downtime, enhancing safety, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Core Responsibilities

1. Support for Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for new projects,

2. Ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards

3. Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems during commissioning

4. Perform routine inspections and tests on electrical systems to detect faults.

5. Should be able to identify and resolve Electrical faults

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards during maintenance activities.

7. Certify the running bills of contractors.

8. Participate in RCA and energy reduction action and task.

9. Maintaining housekeeping and safe environment in the plant

10. Providing training to new operators / technicians

11. After completion of project incumbent will be responsible for O&M activities

12. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.

13. Maintain detailed records of all electrical work, including maintenance logs, test results, and equipment specifications.

14. Implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.

15. Support in monitoring electrical spare parts inventory to ensure availability for maintenance activities.

16. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs to restore system functionality.

17. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
