Job Description
- Daily start of production in respective manufacturing cell at the right time with respect to shift.
- Conduct Daily morning meeting on resp Production line with the line operators as per meeting agenda & update the necessary documents displayed on the meeting board.
- Hourly paceboard updation with detail information of actual production, FTT, Unschedule downtime remarks if any & labour management details if any, date, shift etc.
- Deployment of operators on respective workstations as per skill matrix Daily update 4M change management document.
- Daily update Fast Track Response Board & OEE board in accountability meeting. Execute the actionable items mentioned in process driven accountability.
- Verify MRN raised by operator before issuing it to stores department Verify Start up checklist & process monitoring filled by line operators & act on non conforming observations reported by operator
- Monitor hourly throughput, compare it against the target & follow necessary action & alert mechanism for escalation on concern issue in case of non achievement of the target Monitor Dexterity training objective monthly basis
- Monitor Training operation in dexterity for new & exsting operators in dexterity as per training procedure and training master module matrix Training to new operators as per masterlist of training topics & prepare training plan Evaluate operators for skill level every 4 months & update skill matrix Maintain 5S at respective defined area .
- Prepare documents like OEE, STR, OK Ratio, Rework Ratio, scrap% & do analysis in case target is not achieved Ensure implementation of world class manufacturing processes for vehicle interiors with emphasis on product quality, cost effectiveness, safety, and productivity.
- Provide support for new business development in terms of manufacturing and labor cost inputs. Lead the team of manufacturing and industrial engineers to maintain a strong system oriented approach in day to day activities.
- Establish the estimated cycle times, line balancing, in the design stage and continually update these in subsequent build phases.
- Carry out LPA once a month & follow up for closures on NCs observed in it.
- Continuously monitor the production processes to identify lean activities to reduce costs in assembly, manpower, and packaging.
- Look for improvement opportunities for reduction of Cost, Reduction in PPM, Improvement in Delivery, Improvement in productivity, Improvement in safety & Moral Ensure that daily work management practises such as paceboard updation, daily operator meetings, daily production meeting,
- start up checklist, process parameter monitoring, production report are followed. Update top management on manufacturing issues & provide solutions to them Daily updates at Accountability meeting on Mfg.& run process driven accountabilty board.
- Responsible for VSA & CSR Requirements. Carry out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals.
- Implement IATF 16949 procedures.
