Intellicore Consulting Group - Oracle FCCS Functional Consultant - Implementation & Support (10-12 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Oracle FCCS Functional Consultant with a strong technical foundation to join our dynamic team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering successful implementations of Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation Cloud Service (FCCS), with a focus on technical aspects of the solution.

You will play a key role in all phases of the project lifecycle, from technical design and development to go-live and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver 8+ successful end-to-end implementations of Oracle FCCS.

- Possess 10+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle FCCS.

- Demonstrate in-depth functional knowledge of financial consolidation and close processes, with a strong emphasis on technical aspects of the solution.

- Lead the overall project, including technical solution design, design validation, and guiding the technical aspects of the project team.

- Collaborate closely with technical teams (e.g, developers, data engineers) to ensure smooth integration and data flow.

- Lead the technical aspects of business requirement gathering sessions, including identifying and documenting technical requirements and constraints.

- Design and develop complex FCCS calculations, rules, and integrations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to FCCS data loads, integrations, and application performance.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design specifications, data mapping documents, and integration specifications.

- Possess strong technical capabilities within the FCCS application, including a deep understanding of its architecture, data model, and APIs.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the integration capabilities of FCCS with EPM/Hyperion and other source/target systems using FDMEE/ODI/Data Management.

- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g, Groovy, JavaScript) for FCCS customizations.

- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

- Be willing to travel for both short-term and long-term engagements, with a preference for experience in GCC countries.

- Prior onsite project experience in the GCC region is highly advantageous.

- Possess a strong understanding of related Hyperion/EPM applications such as Planning and Budgeting, Profitability and Cost Management, Account Reconciliation, and Tax Reporting is considered a significant advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

- 10+ years of overall experience in implementing and supporting Oracle FCCS.

- 8+ successful end-to-end FCCS implementations.

- Proven ability to lead and manage technical aspects of complex projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on technical troubleshooting.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Oracle FCCS functionalities, including data loads, calculations, rules, integrations, and reporting.

- Expertise in data integration methodologies and tools, such as FDMEE, ODI, and Data Management.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, Groovy, JavaScript) for FCCS customizations.

- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g, AWS, Azure) is a plus
