Intel Foundry Planning Cloud Software Development Engineer

Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybridcloud, and/or onprem deployment models. Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software. May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Intel products within the cloud. May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and opensource development projects.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 7+ years in Data Engineering or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of Snowflake platform and features.- Strong SQL skills and experience in optimizing complex queries.- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud provider platform.- Scripting skills (Python or Snowflake) for automation tasks.- Proficiency in data modeling and database design principles.- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of data warehousing best practices.- Having experience in IT data planning for Supply Chain is an added advantage.- Experience in creating Power BI reports for data analysis.- SnowPro Core certified
