Role: Team Lead Learning & Development

Work Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Needs Assessment

• Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
• Conduct regular surveys, performance reviews, and consultations to assess training needs.

2. Training Program Design & Implementation

• Develop customized learning programs aligned with business goals and employee development.
• Create and execute a calendar for in-house training sessions across technical and soft skill areas.
• Ensure programs cater to emerging technologies and trends in the IT sector (e.g., Java, AI, Cloud Computing, Agile).

3. Trainer Identification & Management

• Source and evaluate external trainers for specialized topics.
• Build and maintain a network of industry experts and internal trainers.
• Onboard trainers and ensure alignment with company objectives and learning culture.

4. Evaluation & Feedback

• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Continuously improve training content and methods based on participant input and industry best practices.

5. Technology Integration

• Introduce learning management systems (LMS) to track employee participation and progress.
• Introduce innovative tools and e-learning platforms to enhance the learning experience.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain records of training activities, trainer performance, and participant progress.
• Prepare and present regular reports on the impact of training initiatives to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or master s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or related fields.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in the IT industry.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering IT-related training programs.

Skills & Competencies:

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages, cloud technologies, or project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum).
• Training Expertise: Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess training needs and measure program impact effectively.
• Adaptability: Stay updated with IT industry trends and incorporate them into learning strategies.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with digital learning platforms
• Certification in training methodologies or tools (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, Instructional Design).
• Knowledge of compliance training and standards in IT industries.
