We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in software test development and automation, specifically focusing on mobile automation using Appium and Selenium with Java for web. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining test automation frameworks, identifying testing scope and delivering high-quality test results across mobile, web and API platforms. Requirements and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in software test development, including creating and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch. Proficiency in Selenium with Java & Appium for web and mobile automation. Hands-on experience with backend/API automation using Rest Assured/Postman and OAuth protocols. Knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Java). Familiarity with frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, or Karate for API automation. Experience with performance and stress testing using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner. Exposure to build and test automation tools such as JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, and Git. Comfort with working in Linux/Unix environments. Excellent debugging skills to identify and resolve automation script issues. Strong understanding of SQA best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD processes. Roles and Responsibilities: Focus on mobile test automation using Appium, ensuring robust test coverage. Develop and maintain high-quality automation scripts with minimal failures. Identify automation scope across mobile UI and API testing independently. Deliver features on time without regression or production issues. Write comprehensive negative and edge test cases for better test coverage. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in automation scripts effectively. Mentor and train team members on Appium, automation tools, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth automation execution. Continuously monitor and enhance test coverage across mobile and backend systems.
