Sr QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, particularly Playwright, and a quality engineering mindset to enhance testing efficiency. As part of an Agile development team, you will play a key role in embedding testing practices and supporting the development of robust and scalable applications.
Mandatory Requirements
5+ years of experience in quality engineering with a focus on test automation.
Expertise in Playwright Automation Framework and TypeScript programming.
Proficiency in modern automation tools and technologies, with hands-on experience in:
o Testing Python and React applications.
o Building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
o Testing REST APIs.
Strong understanding of TDD/BDD practices and experience with the Cucumber framework.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and database systems.
Experience with CI/CD practices and tools, such as GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
Attention to detail in testing user interfaces and backend services.
Nice to Have
Experience with Artillery load testing platform.
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Familiarity with JavaScript programming languages.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with development teams to embed testing practices into the development lifecycle.
Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using modern tools and technologies.
Conduct functional, performance, and API testing to identify and address potential issues.
Work with Agile teams to adopt Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices and create comprehensive test scenarios.
Execute load and performance tests using platforms like Artillery.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of SQL-based data validations.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality improvements.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and deployment processes.
Actively monitor and improve application performance and quality, ensuring a seamless user experience.
