Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Appium/Selenium (7-12 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium Webdriver IO and Appium.

- Implement BDD/TDD frameworks for test automation, ensuring high-quality test coverage.

- Perform API automation testing using SuperTest, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.

- Work closely with development teams to integrate test automation in CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous testing.

- Collaborate with ReactJS developers to enhance front-end test coverage.

- Ensure adherence to Agile development methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Identify, document, and report defects while working closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Continuously improve testing strategies, tools, and processes to optimize software quality and delivery speed.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Webdriver IO and Appium for UI test automation.

- Proficiency in JavaScript with Node.js for scripting and test development.

- Expertise in BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Mocha/Chai.

- Experience in API automation testing using SuperTest, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests in pipelines.

- Exposure to ReactJS and testing front-end components.

- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in test automation.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with performance testing tools.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.

- Strong knowledge of security and accessibility testing.
