What Our Software Development Engineer in Test I Will Do
The SDT is part of the team which is responsible for delivering High quality SW
The primary focus of the SDT is to learn and start to own the teams efforts around automation and testing, to drive automated testing, to be code capable to help the team with defects and small enhancements as needed, and to perform manual testing with the team when automated tests do not exist.
Has competency of the quality core practices.
Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection.
For Business Solutions:
Evaluating our current existing automation framework and test script collection, and drive continuous test coverage with minimal guidance
Work with the team to help shift left concepts
Analyze, troubleshoot, and report on automated test execution results including, regression break, test design issues, and/or performance issues with minimal guidance
Create concise, information-rich test execution and process documentation including testing artifacts, status, and test methodology documentation.
Provide estimates on test planning and execution activities.
Be code capable where you contribute to defect investigation and resolution with the scrum team.
Keep team, management, and project leaders informed of key concerns and issues, along with recommended solutions
Accountable for your individual KPI s, including data analysis and tracking quality metrics
Other duties as assigned within the scrum team
Who We re Looking For
Exposure to implementing automated tests within a formal Waterfall or Agile software development life cycle
Exposure to automation best practices
Demonstrated experience testing SaaS solutions
Demonstrated experience with backend testing (web services, interfaces, system integration, databases).
