What Our Senior Software Development Engineer in Test 1 Will Do
The SDT is part of the Scrum team which is responsible for delivering High quality SW
The primary focus of the Sr. SDT is to own the scrum teams efforts around automation and testing, to drive automated testing, to be code capable to help the scrum team with defects and small enhancements as needed, and to perform manual testing with the scrum team when automated tests do not exist.
Provide suggestions to enterprise Test automation strategy & Road map, Capacity Planning.
Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection.
For Complex Business Solutions:
Drive the Scrum team shift left helping developers to use the Automation tolls and build automation as needed.
Design and execute automated test scripts to validate Insurity applications across multiple platforms and frameworks.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and report on automated test execution results including, regression break, test design issues, and/or performance issues
Create concise, information-rich test execution and process documentation including testing artifacts, status, and test methodology documentation.
Provide estimates on test planning and execution activities.
Be code capable where you contribute to defect investigation and resolution and product enhancements.
Building, creating, and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks.
Own the implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.
Contribute to the design & architecture of automation projects.
Accountable for individual KPI s, knowledge and skills with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, etc).
Experienced working with Web Services and REST API.
Experienced working with Json and XML.
Knowledge of security testing and running security scans.
Knowledge of performance testing and experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner/LoadRunner Cloud.
Support achievement of established SLAs.
Provide guidance to customers, business partners, and peers.
Provide mentorship to QA team members.
Stay up to date on industry and job-related trends and best practices, including reading relevant publications, articles, blogs, etc
