Strong Knowledge on Finance and Accounting

Assess the balances of Balance sheet, Profit and Loss accounts and Cash Flows for Insurance companies.

Responsible for the GAAP/Stat close on a quarterly and annual basis.

Prepare the deck of analytics for Balance- Sheet and statement of Income to be present to BODs.

Analysis of quarterly and annual movements in financial statements of US Insurance Companies

Knowledge of insurance accounting and reporting, ability to analyze data for inaccuracies and drive corrections to processesIn this role, you will be managing workflow process and inventory handle policy maintenance inclusive of, contract amendments, customer & policy maintenance, broker of record changes. You will be managing terminations as needed in internal systems issuance of policy certificates to agents within desired timelines for Property, Auto, Workers Comp, Inland Marine, Travel and Marine Insurance (Commercial & Personal lines in the English Language)

7 or more years of experience in data, finance, or business analysis

Accounting or Finance degree is required - CA/MBA or equivalent

Experience in the Insurance industry and knowledge of financial services is preferred.

Ability to collaborate effectively and work closely with cross-functional teams and management to accomplish objectives.

Well organized, highly detailed, quantitative skills and strong focus on accuracy

Adapts easily to change, can manage in an uncertain environment, ability to maintain composure under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing interests for time and evolving priorities.

To be able to provide significant and complex financial analysis of activities, projects etc.


Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems

May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures

The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals

Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor

May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture

Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments

Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside

Individual would manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
