Job Description: This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, financial acumen, and industry-specific expertise to ensure that projects are both competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):
1. Cost Estimation & Budgeting

• Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates for projects | exhibition stall design, fabrication, and installation.
• Assess materials, labour, transportation, and overhead costs to provide an accurate project budget.
• Develop cost breakdown structures (CBS) for different project sizes and complexities.
• Prepare and maintain an updated database of material costs, labour rates, and vendor prices.

2. Design & Engineering Cost Analysis

• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to evaluate the cost implications of various projects covering stall designs, structures, and materials.
• Conduct feasibility studies on custom design requirements and special installations.

3. Client Proposal & Quotation Preparation

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing proposals for client presentations.
• Preparation of Preliminary Estimates at proposal stages
• Rate Analysis, Bill Estimation, Costing
• Prepare quantity sheet from on-site data and Engineering / Technical drawings
• Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ)
• Ensure cost estimates align with client budgets while maintaining profitability.
• Collaborate with the sales team to explain cost structures and justifications to clients for presentations.

4. Cost Tracking & Variance Analysis

• Monitor actual costs against estimates and analyze variances to improve future cost estimations.
• Track project expenses and ensure cost control measures are in place throughout execution.
• Generate reports on project profitability, highlighting areas of cost overruns and savings.

5. Compliance & Industry Standards

• Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and material guidelines.
• Keep track of local and international exhibition regulations that might impact project costs.

6. Technology & Process Improvement

• Use costing software and ERP tools for accurate cost calculations and documentation.
• Continuously update cost estimation methodologies based on new materials, technology, and best practices in the exhibition industry.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of cost estimation | Cost Calculation System and project management processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly Proficient in MS Excel and cost estimation software.

Other Details

• Architect, Interior Designer, or Civil/Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of 8 years in project cost estimation, preferably within the furniture, interior, construction, real estate, or related industries.
• Minimum Age 30 years.
• Candidate should reside within a maximum 20 KM radius from Manesar and should NOT be from Delhi.
• Male candidates will be preferred.
