Role & responsibilities

• Oversee post-contract cost management activities such as cost reporting, payment certifications, and contract administration.
• 
  Develop and assess cost plans, budgets, and financial statements for projects.
• 
  Validate contractor claims, variations, and final accounts effectively.
• 
  Ensure adherence to contract terms, project timelines, and financial plans.
• 
  Offer expert guidance on cost optimization and value engineering.
• 
  Collaborate with diverse teams comprising project managers, engineers, and contractors.
• 
  Create detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• 
  Mentor junior team members and facilitate their professional development.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience for Cost Manager roles and 8+ years for Senior Cost Manager positions, preferably in pre & post-contract management in residential, commercial projects.

Proficiency in cost management software like CostX and Autocad.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
