This is a Sales Head role for a leading organization in the HR Consulting/talent development space that has been in the business for over 20 years.
As the Head of Sales, you would be responsible for:
- Delivering revenue and profitability target of all the regions, through achieving yours and team's sales targets.
- Leading a team of highly qualified and motivated Business Development professionals.
This is a unique role combining a consultant's knowledge of solutions, a business analyst's critical thinking for problem solving and a business developer's action-orientation for achievement of revenue targets. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore, and uncover the business needs of new clients and existing clients and strategize how our offerings can grow their business.
Objective of the Role:
As the Head sales, your primary role would be to achieve yours and your team's revenue targets by acquiring new clients and building relationships with existing clients. A key requirement is an individual from the professional services/HR consulting/talent development industry with a very strong network and an ability to communicate at the C-suite level. The organization is planning significant growth and a key facet of the role would involve ensuring that the growth objectives are met. This would be a strategic role, and the person will be a part of the leadership team, with the potential to grow into a partner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strong strategic perspective and a focus on expanding customer base, and market coverage.
- The person should be able to achieve short term results as well as plan and implement long term strategies.
- Build relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are engaged and getting the most value from our services.
- Prepare and execute the Sales strategy for all the assigned territory to acquire new target clients and ensure repeat business.
- Proactively problem solve on existing Proposals in the market to shorten the sales cycle.
- Commercial understanding with regards to - Proposal pricing and effectively negotiating with the client.
- Forecast Monthly Sales & Revenue for the assigned territory.
- Proactively work with clients to understand their current leadership and organizational culture related business initiatives and align them with our research and expertise.
- Engage with C- Level executives and conduct client meetings over the phone and F2F
- Have a strong process orientation and people development capabilities
- Be a coach and mentor to the team.
