QA Engineer

Qualifications & Responsibilities -

SDLC and STLC: A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
(SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is essential.
Test Strategy and Planning: Proficiency in developing and executing test strategies
and plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Manual Testing: Proficiency as a Manual Test Engineer, with expertise in testing
both mobile and web applications.
Automation Frameworks: Experience in designing and developing automation
frameworks to streamline testing processes and enhance test efficiency.
API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing (Example Postman)
SQL: Good knowledge of SQL.
Defect Management: Ability to identify defects, prioritize issues, and meticulously
track them through to resolution, while also reporting test results and progress to the development team.
Test Execution and Reporting: Execute test cases, log bugs accurately, monitor
progress, and analyze test results to provide valuable insights for continuous
improvement.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure
that quality is maintained throughout the SDLC.
Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a basic understanding of tools like
JIRA, is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced, agile
development environment.
Familiarity with financial technology (FinTech) and the banking industry is a plus.
