Role Description:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hardware Sales Professional to join our team in Gurugram/Mumbai.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of IT hardware solutions, including servers, storage, networking devices, and other enterprise infrastructure products.
- This role requires strong sales acumen, technical understanding, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and OEMs.
- The person will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships and meeting sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Over 8-10 years of sales experience.
- Strong background in selling IT hardware solutions, including servers, storage, networking equipment, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Sales Strategy Development, Customer Relationship Management, and Sales Target Achievement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer accounts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and tailor sales approaches accordingly. Set realistic sales targets and track progress towards achieving them.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers. Proactively identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to address their business challenges. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our hardware solutions.
Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closure. Accurately forecast sales and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., pre-sales engineering, marketing, customer support) to ensure successful project delivery.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and other channels. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT hardware technologies, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and virtualization. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of proven success in selling IT hardware solutions (servers, storage, networking) within the enterprise market.
- Strong background in developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and OEMs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address customer needs effectively.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
