Reporting to: Sales Head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the inside sales team, setting clear performance expectations and providing regular coaching and feedback to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement both tactical & strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals and quotas.
- Drive a high-performance sales culture by motivating the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets through effective leadership, support, and training.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights and adjustments to strategies to optimize results.
- Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through the inside sales team, ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
- Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, including Product Development, Customer Success, and Finance, to ensure a seamless sales process and excellent customer experience.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to keep the team updated on product knowledge, market trends, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and continuous improvement.
- Utilize CRM tools and systems to manage sales activities, track progress, and generate accurate reports for senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Directly manage key accounts and handle escalations to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications:
- Graduate/Post-graduate from a reputed institution.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in inside sales, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role leading an inside sales team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas in a competitive, target-driven environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve high performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Experience in utilizing CRM systems and sales tools to manage and analyze sales performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in B2B sales, particularly in the technology/software solutions industry, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
