F5 Load balancer Network Engineer - DNS (5-6 yrs)

Role Description :

As an F5 Load Balancer Network Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our cloud migration initiatives. You will be responsible for configuring and managing load balancers, handling DNS configurations, and utilizing automation tools to streamline operations. Your ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and your commitment to providing reliable support will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities :

- Configure and manage F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of applications.

- Support application migration from on-premises to public cloud environments, including Azure AVS configurations.

- Utilize and manage Cloudflare/Cloudflare tunnel/VMware AVI for load balancing.

- Manage and configure internal and external DNS using Infoblox and Cloudflare.

- Ensure proper DNS resolution and availability.

- Work with the AON Technology Stack Modification Project team to support application migration.

- Configure and manage Azure AVS environments.

- Familiarize and leverage automation frameworks to perform day-to-day activities.

- Utilize in-house automation tools, including Python and Azure DevOps pipelines.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline network operations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to load balancing and DNS.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

- Support the TSM initiative on a 24x7 basis to ensure coverage for all geographical regions.

- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for network configurations and procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on load balancing and DNS.

- Experience with F5 load balancers, Cloudflare, VMware AVI, and Azure AVS.

- Strong understanding of load balancing concepts and technologies (F5, Cloudflare, VMware AVI).

- Expertise in DNS management (Infoblox, Cloudflare).

- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).

- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Azure DevOps pipelines).

- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching).

- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
