Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Provide administration and maintenance for webMethods integration solutions, including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Adapters (JDBC, SAP), Broker, MWS, and Optimize for Infrastructure.

- Install and deploy webMethods product suite updates and patches, ensuring smooth upgrades to the latest versions (9.x, 10.x).

- Collaborate with developers to understand integration requirements and troubleshoot any issues.

- Participate in planning and execution of cutover activities during system deployments.

- Manage certificate configurations, analyze thread dumps, and generate performance statistics.

- Work independently and collaboratively to multi-task efficiently and meet deadlines.

- Install webMethods components, apply patches, and manage deployments using Deployer.

- Troubleshoot issues related to Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, threads, memory, and sessions. Analyze thread dumps to identify root causes of server crashes.

- Establish and troubleshoot connectivity using protocols like HTTP(s), SFTP (OS and application level), JDBC, and SAP adapters.

- Demonstrate an interest in both webMethods administration and development tasks.

- Be available to provide on-call support during off-hours (optional, but highly valued).

- Possess a keen interest in development activities related to support functions.

Qualifications :

- 3-5 years of experience in system administration, specifically with the webMethods platform.

- In-depth knowledge of webMethods products, including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Adapters (JDBC, SAP), Broker, MWS, and Optimize for Infrastructure.

- Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining webMethods applications.

- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving webMethods integration issues.

- Strong understanding of data integration concepts and best practices.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience working with product vendors (e.g., SAG) is a plus.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Javascript).

- Experience with DevOps principles and automation tools.

- Experience in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
