About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist with expertise in managing payroll and benefits administration for full-time, contract, and corp-to-corp employees in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, audits, reconciliations, and payroll operations, particularly in an onsite-offshore setup, coordinating between US and India teams. Additionally, this role will be responsible for generating accurate, timely payroll and benefits reports for internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance for diverse employment types (FTE, contract, and C2C).
• Compliance & Audits: Maintain statutory compliance, conduct regular audits, and ensure seamless reconciliations.
• Induction & Employee Support: Own the payroll-related sections of employee orientations and handle all payroll queries with timely resolutions.
• Reporting & Analytics: Generate and deliver timely, accurate payroll and benefits reports for finance, HR, and leadership teams.
• Coordination & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal teams across India and the US, ensuring smooth payroll operations.
• Zoho Payroll Expertise: Manage payroll using Zoho Payroll, ensuring accurate payroll execution and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits with a strong focus on payroll management.
• Hands-on experience managing payroll for diverse employment types (FTE, contract, C2C).
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Prior experience in a global or onsite-offshore setup, coordinating across geographies.
• Expertise in Zoho Payroll and other HRMS/payroll platforms.
• Relevant certifications in payroll and compliance are highly preferred.

• Ability to handle high-volume payroll processing with accuracy.
