Quality Engineer

• Develop and implement quality control processes and standards for manufacturing operations.
  
• Perform regular inspections and audits of production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
  
• Analyze quality data and implement corrective actions to address any deviations or defects in the manufacturing process.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify potential quality issues and develop proactive solutions.
  
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Document and report quality metrics, including defect rates, process improvements, and audit findings.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001.
  
• Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques, including Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen.
  
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  
• Familiarity with automation technologies and manufacturing processes.
  
• Experience in the packaging, automotive, or process industries will be an advantage.
  
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) is a plus.
  
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with occasional travel to client site.
