Production manager:- furniture company

• Prepare production plan in coordination with Sales and design team
  
• Coordinate with Purchase team on raw material. Guiding Purchase department for scheduling as the production plan
  
• Prepare process flow, work instructions and continuously update the Sales, Design and Management on the progress of the project
  
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan and review of drawing and specification for any queries and clarifications essential for production
  
• Ensure production targets are met within the constraints of the budget and optimum production is achieved
  
• Ensure that the installations manufactured are of consistent quality
  
• Highlight technical issues and recommend probable solutions to the Sales, design and Management
  
• Analyze root cause for the rejections and the rework, customer feedback and ensure the systems are in place to prevent the re occurrence
  
• Measure the cycle time and reduce the same to improve production
  
• Device maintenance plan for the shop floor

Production Foreman Furniture company

Supervisors, furniture and fixtures manufacturing have to perform, and some of the physical demands they involve:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who assemble furniture and fixtures of any materials, operate woodworking machines and finish furniture to specified colour or finish
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policy
• Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
