Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of our IT network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, AV-EDR, DNS & DHCP, and WiFi routers. The role requires a deep understanding of network security best practices, advanced troubleshooting skills, and relevant industry certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Firewall Management :

• Configure, and manage enterprise-grade firewalls (e.g., SonicWall, Cisco ASA, FortiGate).
• Develop and enforce firewall policies, rules, and access controls to safeguard against threats.
• Analyze firewall logs and implement advanced security measures, including IPS/IDS and VPN configurations.

2) Switches & Routers :

• Deploy, configure, and optimize Layer 2/Layer 3 switches and routers in complex enterprise environments.
• Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and VLAN configurations for seamless network operations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve high-level network performance issues.

3) AV - EDR (Antivirus with Endpoint Detection and Response)

• Maintain enterprise-level EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, Sophos).
• Conduct threat hunting and system remediation.
• Ensure timely patching, updates, and alignment with cybersecurity frameworks.

4) DNS & DHCP :

• Manage enterprise-grade DNS & DHCP solutions (e.g., Infoblox, Windows Server DNS/DHCP).
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance of DNS/DHCP services.
• Implement DNS security protocols, such as DNSSEC, and mitigate DNS spoofing attacks.

5) WiFi Routers :

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure enterprise WiFi networks using solutions like Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or Ubiquiti.
• Conduct wireless site surveys, spectrum analysis, and optimize WiFi coverage and performance.
• Address interference, bandwidth management, and user authentication challenges.

6) Leadership & Documentation :

• Act as a technical lead for network and security projects.
• Document network and security architectures, configurations, and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
• Support 3rd party audits and maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in network and security engineering roles.

Certifications:

• Networking: CCNA, CCNP.
• Security: CISM, CEH, Fortinet NSE 4-8.
• Specialized: DNS/DHCP (Infoblox Certified), WiFi (CWNA, CWSP, Cisco Wireless).

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS).
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios).
• Experience with SD-WAN, VPNs, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
