Job Title : Python Automation Testing Engineer (Diagnostics)

About the Role :

Wipro is seeking an experienced Python Automation Testing Engineer specializing in diagnostics and automotive technology.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, collaborating on test case design, and contributing to the overall quality of our Telematics Control Unit (TCU) validation testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Script Development : Independently develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for diagnostics and automotive components.

- Requirement Analysis & Design : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to the design and development of automated test cases, ensuring high-quality standards.

- Debugging & Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot and debug issues within the automation framework, with a solid understanding of Git and version control systems.

- Automotive Experience : Bring a minimum of 6 years of automotive industry experience, specifically related to Telematics Control Unit (TCU) validation, covering diagnostics, E-CALL, FOTA, and cellular communication.

- Communication Protocol Expertise : Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, ETHERNET, and UDS.

- Methodologies : Familiarity with ASPICE and Agile software methodologies, as well as AUTOSAR software development principles.

- Test Planning : Create software and firmware test plans that include requirements traceability matrices and test coverage, ensuring alignment with feature requirements.

- DevOps Integration : Utilize DevOps practices, including the use of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, to streamline automation and testing workflows.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- Programming : Strong experience in Python for automation.

- Automotive Telematics : Hands-on experience in Telematics Control Unit validation testing, including diagnostics, E-CALL, FOTA, and cellular communication.

- Protocols : Expertise in CAN, LIN, ETHERNET, and UDS communication protocols.

- Testing & Debugging : Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills within an automation framework.

- Methodologies : Experience working with ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and Agile software development.
