Python Test Engineer (4-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Python applications.

- Automate test execution using Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, behave).

- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.

- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through the bug tracking system.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Contribute to improving the overall QA process.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, particularly within the Python testing ecosystem.

- Experience with testing web applications and APIs.

- Experience with database testing (SQL or NoSQL).

Required Skills :

- 4+ years of experience in software testing.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Experience with Python testing frameworks (pytest, unittest, behave).

- Experience with test automation and framework development.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
