Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Testing Engineer proficient in Java, Selenium, or Cypress to join our dynamic QA team.

You will be responsible for automating functional and regression tests, collaborating with developers, and ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards.

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Automation Testing Engineer to join our growing team at Bell Technologies. As part of our dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) team, you will play a critical role in automating functional and regression testing to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for test automation and ensuring flawless software functionality. The position is based in Bengaluru, offering a hybrid work model that includes both in-office and work-from-home flexibility.

Experience Required :

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Automation Testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, and/or Cypress

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Java) and Cypress for both functional and regression testing.

- Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to design and implement effective and efficient test automation strategies.

- Enhance and optimize test frameworks to ensure they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

- Troubleshoot issues, identify defects early in the development lifecycle, and support the team in ensuring quality assurance.

- Create comprehensive test cases and contribute to continuous improvement in automation testing processes.

- Continuously update knowledge of best practices in test automation, contributing innovative ideas for the improvement of testing practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, and/or Cypress.

- Proven experience in process automation and automation testing.

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and stakeholders.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with other automation tools or frameworks.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
