IT Admin and Support

We are seeking an IT Support Procurement Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in managing IT server operations, overseeing hardware and software purchases, and troubleshooting system performance issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with IT infrastructure, cost negotiation, and vendor coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Server Management: Oversee and maintain server performance, troubleshoot issues related to server slowness, RAM issues, and motherboard malfunctions.

Hardware Software Support: Manage hardware and software issues, particularly focusing on troubleshooting and resolving printer and system performance problems.

Purchase Procurement: Handle procurement of IT hardware and software, including cost negotiations with vendors for competitive pricing.

Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for product delivery, maintenance support, and warranty management.

Licensing Management: Manage Microsoft licenses and ensure compliance with all software usage regulations.

Customer Interaction: Communicate with external customers regarding internet connectivity and technical support issues.

Cost Negotiation: Engage in price negotiations with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing solutions.

Custom Coordination: Collaborate with the Customs department for export-related issues and ensure the proper handling of IT goods and software.

Export Compliance: Ensure compliance with international export regulations for IT hardware and software.

Key Skills Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and server management.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware components, including servers, printers, and system parts.
• Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation skills, particularly in pricing and licensing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software licensing (MS Licenses).
• Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to resolve technical issues related to system performance and hardware malfunctions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in IT hardware support or networking.
• Familiarity with CFSMAG and other related IT systems.
• Previous experience in export management or working with customs for IT-related shipments.
