Job Description
Help Desk Support :
Providetechnical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software,and network issues.
Respondto IT support requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Documentand maintain a record of support requests and resolutions.
HardwareMaintenance :
Suggestsuitable configuration of Desktop and Laptops as per user requirement andassist in purchase and assembly.
Assistin the installation, setup, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, andother hardware devices.
Conductroutine hardware inspections to identify and address issues promptly.
Software Support :
Install,update, and configure software applications on end-user devices as perorganisational policies and requirements.
Assistusers in software-related issues, including login problems, application errors,and data access.
Network Assistance :
Assistin maintaining the organizations network infrastructure, including routers,switches, access points and internet connection.
Troubleshootnetwork connectivity issues and assist with network configurations.
Conductperiodic maintenance of network equipment and ensure minimum downtime.
User Training :
Providebasic training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and best practices.
Helpusers understand and use common software applications.
InventoryManagement :
Maintainan accurate inventory of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, andsoftware licenses.
Assistin asset tracking and equipment provisioning.
SecurityCompliance :
Assistin enforcing IT security policies and practices.
Monitorand report potential security threats or breaches.
Documentation :
Createand maintain documentation for common IT procedures, troubleshooting guides,and FAQs.
KeepIT documentation up-to-date.
Requirements
Requirements
Adegree or certification in information technology or a related field is a plusbut not mandatory.
Min2-3 years work experience as IT Assistant is preferred.
Strongtechnical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Familiaritywith common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
Sound knowledgeof computer hardware components.
Goodinterpersonal skills.
Abilityto work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communicationskills.
