As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the companys sales strategies and achieving revenue targets across multiple regions. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Business Development & Client Engagement:
Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Conduct outreach to potential customers, transforming leads into long-term business partners. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Sales Pipeline & Lead Management:
Manage the sales pipeline and ensure a steady flow of qualified leads. Work closely with the Operation team to follow up on leads and convert them into sales opportunities. Leverage CRM tools (preferably HubSpot) to manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Sales Target Achievement:
Develop and implement plans to achieve and surpass sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as necessary. Motivate and guide the sales team to reach their individual and collective sales goals.
Tender and Proposal Management:
Collaborate with the tendering team to prepare and manage technical and financial tender documents. Provide input to create accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for quotation purposes. Ensure the submission of competitive proposals to win key projects.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to deliver strong performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment with business goals.
Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a high- performance culture.
Client Meetings & Travel:
Travel extensively across India and internationally to meet clients, present proposals, and close deals. Organize and lead client meetings, ensuring professional and persuasive communication.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide regular sales updates and performance reports to senior management. Analyze sales data and trends to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is preferred. A Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in a similar industry, with a strong preference for B2B sales experience and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
