Job Description

Job Purpose:

National Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sales training programs across company's national sales teams for the entire portfolio. This role is focused on equipping the sales force with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to enhance performance, achieve sales targets, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

The ideal candidate is both an experienced sales leader and a strategic thinker, capable of designing and delivering innovative, high-impact training programs that foster continuous learning and translate into measurable sales performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Design and Delivery:

- Develop and design comprehensive training programs on products, sales techniques, and skills development to ensure sales team is well equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

2. Training Needs Assessment:

- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Training Needs Identification (TNI) through performance analysis and feedback to identify gaps and develop targeted training solutions.

3. Content Development:

For timely and accurate content development to support seamless launch of any new product, process and systems. Regularly review and maintain the content repository, ensuring that documents are accurately updated and aligned with current business requirements. Plan TTTs and deployment approach for new product, process and systems in liaison with the deployment teams.

4. Project Management:

- Initiate new projects by defining scope, objectives, and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders. Ensure feasibility, manage timelines, and track project progress to align with business goals.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with product managers and subject matter experts to stay updated on product features, updates, and enhancements. Engage with stakeholders to tailor training programs that meet evolving needs.

6. Hiring and Onboarding:

- Participate in the hiring process to identify and select suitable candidates for retail sales roles. Facilitate the onboarding process for sales promoter hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the training program.

7. Sellout Management:

- Manage a workforce of regional trainers/Shop floor executives with ownership of product sell-out /Training and productivity. Gather market intelligence and provide insights to sales and marketing team to improve sell-out.

Core competencies, Knowledge and experience:

- At least 5-8 years' experience in the field of training, with min 4-5 years in training role covering both classroom and tutorial settings

- Should have consumer durables/telecom/FMCG experience

- Have experience in content writing, technical writing, or knowledge management, ideally in a customer service or technical environment.

- Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Ability to distil complex technical information into simple, user-friendly language.

- Excellent understanding of sales techniques, processes, and methodologies

- Ability to inspire and motivate sales team members through engaging training session.

Must Have Technical/professional Qualifications

- Bachelor's/MBA degree required

- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and learning management systems (LMS).

- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and other content collaboration platforms.

Salary upto 20 lakhs
