Head - Security & Vigilance

To Lead the Security function at GNIAL and ensure effective implementation of Security processes and procedures in compliance to all statutory and regulatory requirements; Assess & mitigate any security risks and establish safe environment at the airport premises.

• Adherence to Project Management Schedule for Launch of Airport Operations with all Security compliances, processes & procedures in place.
• Creating & Establishing of all the relevant manuals & SOPS wrt Security & Vigilance including Landside security.

• 100% Compliance to all statutory and Aviation Security regulatory requirements including landside For e.g. BCAS, Police guidelines etc.
• Security audit findings & corrective actions taken to plug the same

• Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA);
• Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA);
• International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
• Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS)
• Airports Authority of India (AAI) , Air Traffic Management (ATM) & Communication and Navigational System (CNS)
• Other regulatory & enforcement agencies like Police, RTO, Intelligence
• Airlines, Ground Handlers, Concessionaires, Service Providers
• Customs, Immigration Authorities, (CISF), Airport Health Organization (APHO)
• Various Bodies/ Officials of State Govt.

• Leadership Team of GNIAL & all associated departments

• Effective Management of Department Budget
• Monitor and arrest Revenue Leakage in various departments like Non-Aero Business, Cargo, Taxi Parking etc..

• Demonstrated leadership in driving innovation in Airport Security Operations, handling a team with diverse skill sets & handing emergencies

Masters/ Bachelor s Degree from a leading University or any similar professional Diploma /Degree with specialization in Security/ Investigation/ Intelligence.

• Min. of 20 years of experience which includes managing the security operations of a large government establishment (Police/ Defense) OR business organization OR an intnl airport handling not less than 7 mppa.
• Should have well established contacts with State & Central level govt. agencies/ senior personnel.
• Knowledge of ICAO Regulations, ICAO Security Manual, International conventions on security and parallel Indian Laws, BCAS rules & regulations and current developments in aviation security.
• Ability to identify and build a robust team and mentor them.
• Ability to establish and maintain good work relationships with various stakeholders like government officials and agencies, concessionaires, employees and the general public.
• Aviation security background with a sound professional track record will be an added qualification.
• Candidates having working experience in Nagpur will be an added advantage.
